Are all your radiators getting hot?
It's common for some radiators, especially those furthest from the boiler or in newer extensions, to feel cooler than others. Walk around your home and carefully check each radiator. If some are warm at the top and cold at the bottom, they might need bleeding. If an entire radiator is cold when others are hot, ensure its valves are fully open. This is a common issue in properties with extended pipe runs, particularly in older terraced homes around Ormskirk Road.
- Feel top and bottom of each radiator.
- Bleed cold-at-bottom radiators (use a key, catch water).
- Ensure both radiator valves are fully open.
