Diagnosing Gas Safety During Void Periods
A void period allows us unrestricted access to all gas appliances in your HMO, from the communal kitchen to individual tenant areas. We inspect each appliance for correct operation, flue integrity, gas leaks, and carbon monoxide presence. This includes boilers, cookers, and gas fires. Unlike an occupied property where access might be limited, a void period enables us to thoroughly examine connections and pipework that would otherwise be difficult to reach. We check for wear and tear, correct installation, and any signs of damage that could compromise safety once tenants are present.
- Full access for comprehensive appliance inspection
- Pipework and connections thoroughly checked
- Early detection of wear or damage
- Ensures compliance before re-occupation
