Boilers: The Heart of the System
For boilers, we conduct a full strip-down, clean, and reassembly. This involves checking the heat exchanger for blockages, cleaning the burner and electrodes, and ensuring the condensate trap is clear. Crucially, we verify gas pressures (static and working) and measure the flue gas analysis to confirm safe combustion and efficient operation. We also inspect all safety devices, including the pressure relief valve and expansion vessel, and check for any leaks in the gas and water systems. Many less thorough checks omit the flue gas analysis or simply 'visually inspect' components, which can miss underlying issues.
- Flue gas analysis for safe combustion
- Gas pressure verification (static & working)
- Clean and inspect burner, electrodes, heat exchanger
- Condensate trap clear and functional
- Check all safety devices and seals
