The Common Case: Greenstar i/CDi Series
Many homes in areas like the 1990s–2000s estates around Westhoughton feature the older Greenstar i or CDi series. These are solid boilers, but after years of service, we frequently encounter diverter valve wear. A sticking 3-way actuator is also a known issue for the CDi models. These are often routine fixes for a Gas Safe engineer. We carry common Worcester diverter cartridges, PRVs, pumps, and expansion vessels, meaning these repairs can often be completed efficiently. A single repair for these common issues usually extends the boiler's life considerably at a lower cost than replacement.
- Diverter valve wear (CDi models)
- Sticking 3-way actuator (CDi models)
- Pressure loss (tired filling loop)
