The Common Case: System Imbalance & Siting Issues
When we arrive, the first step is to observe your system in operation. We'll start by checking the flow and return temperatures at your boiler and then systematically move around your property, assessing each radiator. Many times, some radiators will be much hotter than others, particularly those closest to the boiler. This indicates an imbalanced system where near radiators 'hog' the flow, starving the further reaches of the circuit. We also pay close attention to your thermostat's location; if it's in a naturally warmer room, it can prematurely satisfy the system, leaving other areas cold.
